Professor El-Menshawy inaugurates the Teaching Assistant Resting Room after its comprehensive development and modernization
Professor El-Menshawy, President of Assiut University, inaugurated today, Tuesday, July 14, the Rest Room (14) of Building (A) at Qalta Company, following the completion of the implementation of the comprehensive replacement and renovation works of all its facilities, and its full allocation to teaching assistants and teachers, within the framework of the university's plan to develop university restrooms and improve the level of services provided to the members of the auxiliary staff.
The opening was attended by Dr. Mohamed Adawi, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Mr. Mustafa Gaber, Director General of the General Administration of Restrooms and Residences of Faculty Members and their Assistants, Eng. Ahmed Salah,
Director General of Administrative Affairs, along with Eng. Shaima Mohieldin, Director of the Headquarters Affairs Department, Mr. Mahmoud Al-Sayed, Director of the Restrooms Department, Mr. Mohamed Antar, Director of the VIP Lounge, and a number of employees of the General Administration of Restrooms.
The President of the University was briefed on the development works witnessed during the restroom, which included the implementation of a comprehensive overhaul of the building, the renewal of the infrastructure, the furnishing of all residential units with new furniture, and the provision of integrated electrical appliances and television screens.
The lounge consists of five floors and has a capacity of 60 beds, which contributes to accommodating a larger number of teaching assistants and providing them with a distinguished university residence.
Professor El-Menshawy stressed that the university continues to develop university lounges and raise their efficiency within the framework of its continuous plan to modernize service facilities, in line with the needs of faculty members and supporting staff, and reflects the university's interest in improving the quality of services provided to its employees.
For his part, Dr. Mohamed Adawi explained that allocating the rest room for teaching assistants and assistant teachers after their development provides them with equipped and integrated university housing, which contributes to achieving job and social stability, and creates an appropriate environment that enhances their ability to perform their educational and research tasks efficiently.
The replacement and renovation works were carried out through the university's construction department, under the supervision of the department's engineers and supervisors, in line with the university's plan to modernize its service facilities and improve the level of services provided to faculty members and supporting staff.
